Compassion and the Power of Dying Well

Rev David Maginley, a spiritual counsellor at the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax, spoke about 'Compassion and the Power of Dying Well' on October 16. David has survived cancer four times, resulting in a profound near-death experience and explorations in the nature of consciousness and the connection of body, mind and spirit. He knows what it’s like to have cancer from both sides of the hospital bed, and has a sense of this life from both sides of the veil.

Worshipping in the World!

Rev. Gaylyn shares some of the challenges of taking the worship service outdoors. Her comments are interesting in light of how we are called to take church out into the world and not get stuck in our "church buildings". Gaylyn's message is very real and authentic about the challenges that we can experience.
