These are questions we will explore in COVID Conversations, online Zoom discussions of the ways the pandemic may shape the future of the church.
- Preparing for Change
Nobody knows what the post-COVID world will look like. But it will be different. How can we prepare ourselves to adapt change?
- What’s Essential?
COVID has disrupted or deprived us of much that is familiar and valued. But what do we really need in order to be a church?
- Supporting Each Other
COVID has made us feel very disconnected. It’s made us think about how we can sustain the relationships that are so important to being the church. How can we support each other individually? And how can our congregations work more closely together?
- Hidden Opportunities
We are keenly aware of all the losses and disruptions COVID has brought. What fresh opportunities is COVID presenting us with?
- Lessons Learned
What new skills and habits are we having to learn during these times? What old habits are we having to “unlearn”? How can we incorporate these lessons into a new vision of the future?
